Acting for teens only! grades 8-12
with Brad Wages

This in-person acting class for teens only (grades 8-12) will explore acting technique and style, including physicalization and movement. These techniques will be applied to character development with assigned scene work or monologues. There will be a corresponding spring semester class with a live performance by the students.
Acting Level 2 for grades 4-7
with Becky Holahan

Prerequisite: Beginning Acting
This in-person intermediate acting class is for actors in grades 4-7 who have completed the beginning class (fall and spring semesters) and are hungry for more. There will be a corresponding spring semester class that includes a performance.
5,6,7,8 Dance and Sing! for grades 8-12
with Vanessa Russo

In this in-person musical theatre class for teens only (grades 8-12) Vanessa will give instruction on dance and audition technique as she has teens moving to the music's beat! With Michelle, VT's resident music director, students will explore the proper way to approach auditioning, which will include examples of audition cuts.
Acting Level 3 for grades 5-7
with Preston Boyd

Prerequisite: Beginning and Intermediate Acting
This in-person advanced acting class is for actors in grades 5-7 who have completed the Beginning Level 1 and Intermediate Level 2 classes (fall and spring semesters) and are hungry for more. There will be a corresponding spring semester class that includes a performance.
Acting Level 1 for grades 6-8
with Becky Holahan

Improvisation! Theatre games! Movement! Students will discover the actor’s tools – body, voice, mind and imagination – and have fun! This in-person acting class is for students in grades 6-8. There will be a corresponding spring semester class that includes a performance.
Workshop: Mock Audition for young actors in grades 3-12
with Brad Wages

In this unique one-day mock audition workshop, young actors will get a chance to perform their monologue and get feedback and guidance from VT's own Brad Wages! Students will be sent four monologues from which to choose. They will need to have the monologue memorized and ready to perform. Students must be registered by Oct. 15 to participate in this workshop.
