Broadway Bound: Musical Theatre for Grades 3-6 PERFORMS!

It's our performance semester! In this musical theatre class, students in grades 3-6 will dance to the beat, sing to the rhythms, and rehearse for their March 9, 2026 evening showcase. Students must also be available for the technical rehearsals on March 7th during the day and March 8th during the evening.
Advanced Acting for Grades 5-8 PERFORMS!

Prerequisite: Fall and spring semesters of Beginning and Intermediate Acting or permission. This performance class is for the advanced actor in grades 5-8. Imagination — a skill central to the telling of a story — will be utilized to develop characters. Additionally, students will be introduced to scene study techniques as they rehearse for their March 9, 2026 evening showcase. Students must also be available for technical rehearsals on March 7th during the day and March 8th during the evening.
Beginning Acting for Grades 3-5 PERFORMS!

Prerequisite: Fall Beginning Acting for Grades 3-5 or permission. It's our performance semester! In this beginning performance acting class for grades 3-5, students apply the FUNdamentals learned last semester as they rehearse for the Raymond Center Showcase. Students must be available for tech rehearsals on March 7th during the day, March 8th during the evening, and for the 7:30 p.m. performance on March 9, 2026.
Intermediate Acting for Grades 4-5 PERFORMS!

Prerequisite: Fall Intermediate Acting for Grades 4-5 or by permission of instructor. It's our performance semester! In this intermediate performance acting class for grades 4-5, students will continue to build their skills and have fun as they get ready to perform on VT's Raymond Center stage. Students must be available for tech rehearsals on March 7 during the day, March 8 in the evening, and for the 7:30 p.m. performance on March 9, 2026.
Improv for Grades 3-5 PERFORMS!

Prerequisite: Fall Improv class for Grades 3-5 or permission of instructor. It's showtime! This semester our young improvers will get ready for their performance showcase where they'll strut their skills of acting without a script. Improv develops listening skills, group cooperation, and the ability to think on one's feet. Students must be available for tech rehearsals on March 7 during the day, March 8 in the evening, and for the 7:30 p.m. performance on March 9, 2026.
