Dance and Sing! for Grades K-2

Instructors: Vanessa Russo and Stephanie Jabre In this song and dance class for students in grades K-2, Vanessa will have the little stars movin' and groovin' while Stephanie gets them singing to those Broadway tunes. This class fosters social skills and group dynamics. There will be a corresponding spring semester class that includes a performance.
Broadway Bound: Musical Theatre for Grades 3-6
with Vanessa Russo

In this musical theatre class, students in grades 3-6 will dance to the beat, sing to the rhythms, and learn the foundation of musical theatre. There is a corresponding spring performance class.
Dynamic Drama
with Becky Holahan

Instructors: Becky Holahan and George DeJong Experience the joy of performance! This in-person class for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities builds confidence and life skills through theatre exercises and acting studies. At the end of the semester, students will audition for the 2026 Pinky's Players production. Those cast will continue with rehearsals in the spring. Please note classes are not structured to offer one-on-one support of students. Students must meet admission criteria.

Musical Theatre for Grades 7-12

Instructors: Vanessa Russo and Stephanie Jabre Give your musical theatre skills a tune-up! This in-person musical theatre class for grades 7-12 will integrate dance and song for a full musical theatre class experience. You will be amazed at what Vanessa will get your fancy feet to do and won't believe how Stephanie can bring out your singing voice! There is a corresponding spring performance class.

WORKSHOP: Hard Knock Life Audition Prep for Annie
with Alyssa Goudy

Instructors: Sandy Davisson, Vanessa Russo, Stephanie Jabre, and Alyssa Goudy
This 4-day audition prep workshop is for female actors ages 6-12 who are interested in auditioning for the musical Annie.
Topics covered:
- Sept. 20: Theatre etiquette and monologues
- Sept. 27: Prepping for the Vocal Audition
- Oct. 4: Prepping for the Dance Audition
- Oct.11: Characterization and auditioning with "the side"
Students are encouraged to bring in a 30-second monologue for the Sept. 20th class, and 16-32 measures of a song and sheet music for the Sept. 27th class. Feedback will be given. All workshops will be in the Raymond Center Classroom, except the Oct. 4th class which will be in the Education Rehearsal Room in the Main Building.
