This introduction to publishing and writing provides a foundational overview of both the craft of writing and the business of the publishing industry. Learn the life cycle of a book or periodical, from editorial development and drafting to marketing, design, and distribution.

Join Vanessa for her popular adult dance class. She'll have your feet doing moves you never knew they could do. Great for the adult who wants to brush up for auditions or just wants to move and have fun! You will have the option to perform in a showcase on the evening of Nov. 9, with a tech rehearsal on Nov. 7.

Instructors: Becky Holahan and George DeJong Experience the joy of performance! This class for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities builds confidence and life skills through theatre exercises and acting studies. At the end of the semester, students will audition for the 2027 Pinky's Players production. Those cast will continue with rehearsals in the spring. Please note classes are not structured to offer one-on-one support of students. Students must meet admission criteria.

Dance through the Decades in this class specifically designed for active adults. Vanessa will get your body swinging to the rhythms of the songs, and a variety of fun exercises and full-body routines will help you improve strength, stamina, and balance.

So much fun! Daniel's drop-in adult improv classes cater to any level with specially crafted games, warm-ups, and exercises. Try out one class or take them all! Material will be new and fresh every time. Increase confidence, decrease anxiety, and find community! Must be registered by noon two days prior to class.

Coming Attractions! In this creative acting class you'll read, study, and act out scenes from VT's upcoming season while exploring characterization and the world of the play. 

There is much fun to be had in this adult acting class. We'll explore the actor's tools — voice, mind, body, and imagination — while working on monologues, scene study, and one of the most important principles of acting: "sending and receiving." All experience levels welcomed!

Murray Chase and occasional guests will discuss putting a show on its feet, with dynamic physical action, raw emotions, and comedic opportunities. "It's a play, not just a page with strange words. So let's play!" For anyone who loves Shakespeare, and for everyone who hates Shakespeare. For actors and non-actors.
