Session 1: aactWORLDFEST Armenian Puppetry
SESSION 1 FOR AGES 8-12
A rare opportunity! This unique workshop will focus on using puppets and marionettes, physical theatre, and aspects of the Stanislavski method. The workshop will result in short performances that will be presented during the aactWORLDFEST closing ceremony, June 25. This afternoon session will be offered for students ages 8-12. There will be physicality and movement involved. Students may need to purchase white long sleeve shirts, long pants, white socks and shoes.
Rehearsals will begin Wednesday June 15, 2022 and run through the Festival closing performance on Saturday, June 25, 2022.
REHEARSAL BREAKDOWN
WEEK 1 - Wednesday, June 15 through Sunday, June 19, 1- 4 p.m.
WEEK 2 - Monday, June 20 through Saturday, June 26 - Times TBA
Participants will perform in the Festival closing ceremony, Saturday, June 25, 8 - 9:30 p.m.
Out-of-state housing is available! Just check the box in the registration form.
