Nervous about speaking in Alexandrine verse? Not sure how to perform in a 352-year-old classical French comedy influenced by commedia dell’arte? This two-day workshop for adults will introduce you to the world of Moliere's The Learned Ladies, to be directed by Venice Theatre Artistic Director Benny Sato Ambush in spring 2025. Get familiar with speaking in rhymed couplets, moving in period style, and have a crack at the language of fans and canes. Ideal for those intending to audition and wanting a leg up. The play’s character ages range from early 20s to ancient.
