Imagine yourself a Writer 3.0

Pre-requisite: Imagine Yourself a Writer 2.0
Back by popular demand, writers and future writers will learn how to generate ideas, write and edit, and navigate through to publication.

For Teens Only: Acting for Grades 9-12
with Brad Wages
This performance class for teens only (grades 9-12) will continue the work students started in fall as they rehearse for the March 30, 2026 evening showcase. Classes will focus on physicalization and discovering the world of the play. These techniques will be applied to character development with assigned scene work or monologues. Students must also be available for the daytime technical rehearsal on March 28, 2026. Additional tech rehearsals will be held from 5 to 6:30 p.m. on March 25, 26 and 27. No class on March 17, 2026 during spring break.
Theatre Fun for Homeschool Students Ages 5-7 PERFORMS!

Homeschoolers ages 5-7: Let’s have FUN while we prepare for the end-of-semester demonstration, with improvisation, theatre games, and movement! Discover the actor’s tools: body, voice, mind, and imagination! Bonus: Theatre promotes healthy group dynamics and improves communication and problem-solving skills. Class demonstration on the morning of March 14, 2026.
Adventures in Acting for Homeschool Students Ages 8-14 PERFORMS!

Homeschool students ages 8-14, while preparing for the end-of-semester performance, will discover and develop their actor’s tools: body, voice, mind, and imagination. They'll have fun with movement, improvisation activities, and theatre games while working individually, in small groups, and as a whole group. Class demonstration on the morning of March 14, 2026.

Drop in Improv! for Adults (January Session)
with Daniel Dagesse
Daniel's adult improv classes cater to any level with specially crafted games, warm-ups, and exercises. Increase confidence, decrease anxiety, and find community! Must be registered by noon two days prior to class.

This one-day acting workshop is for students in grades 3-5. They'll have the chance to explore the actor's tools and discover the joy of theatre.
It's Time to Play! Acting for Adults in Wellen Park
with Sandy Davisson
There is much fun to be had in this adult acting class at Solis Hall. We'll explore the actor's tools: voice, mind, body and imagination. Other topics may include monologues, scene study, and one of the most important principles of acting - "sending and receiving." All experience levels welcomed.
